How often should I seal or stain my deck?
Depending on how much exposure to the sun as well as other variables, it differs from deck to deck. Some decks require sealing/ staining every 4 to 5 years. Some decks with full exposure to the sun may need to be resealed/ re-stained every 18 months.

How long do I have to wait after power washing my deck to be able to stain/ seal it?
Around 48 hours of dry weather is needed for the deck to properly dry out correctly.

The last time I had my deck done, they sprayed sealer all over my vinyl siding and sliding door. How does Deckworks prevent that?
You should have called us first! We do all of our applications by hand, with a brush, in a controlled, clean manner.

How long should I stay off the deck after it’s been sealed?
You should keep off your new deck for about 36 hours.

Who is responsible for removing the deck furniture and grill?
Deckworks will remove your deck furniture and grill at no extra charge.
